Voytek eventually marries Folger and they spend a happy life together. Voytek hits it big in the film industry, while Folger becomes a great social worker. Voytek and Folger's lives spin out of control due to heavy drug use. Folger suspects Voytek of seeing other women, causing Folger to end her relationship with Voytek once and for all. Voytek and Folger seperate due to constant fighting, but they ultimately get back together again. Voytek continues living off Folger, and uses her money to finance his drug deals.

Sharon becomes a great movie star, while Jay's career as a hair stylist flourishes. Sharon's movie career stalls out, while Jay's hair styling business eventually goes bankrupt. Jay remains a very close friend of Sharon's, but nothing more. Sharon and Jay get back together again after Sharon divorces husband Roman Polanski. Sharon stops seeing Jay altogether so she can focus on her marriage, career, and being a new mother.
